Saint Clair Shores, Michigan: On November 23rd, 2010, Albion was issued a new patent, entitled “Hypoallergenic Metal Amino Acid Chelates and Metal Amino Acid Chelate Containing Compositions”. This US Patent #7,838,042 is another in a long series of mineral chelate intellectual property achieved by Albion. It relates to the composition, preparation, administration, and formulation of hypoallergenic metal amino acid chelates and products containing hypoallergenic metal amino acid chelates.

This patent addresses a growing health problem throughout the world: the increasing incidence of food and chemical sensitivities and allergies. This problem is now affecting more than 50% of Americans. The chelates produced via this patented method may be able to be used by the vast majority of people reported to suffer from these allergy and sensitivity problems. Food and chemical sensitivities, as well as allergies have been shown to give rise to a wide array of physical problems, from arthritis to skin diseases to severe digestive disorders. Albion hopes that the products produced in this method will be of a healthy benefit to all.
