Penton's expo west/supply expo named one of fifty fastest growing tradeshows

Penton Media today announced its Natural Products Expo West/Supply Expo was named to the 2008 list of the 50 fastest-growing trade and consumer shows in North America by Tradeshow Week magazine. The Tradeshow Week Fastest 50 is based on percentage of growth and total net square footage of growth from 2005 to 2007.

Natural Products Expo West/Supply Expo, produced by New Hope Natural Media - a division of Penton Media, is the country's largest natural, organic, and healthy products trade show. In March 2008, Natural Products Expo West/Supply Expo attracted a record 52,000 retailers, manufacturers, and industry professionals to the Anaheim Convention Center in California. The show featured 3,392 exhibits showcasing the latest in natural and organic foods and personal care, healthy ethnic, sustainable living, and alternative medicine products.

"We are delighted to learn that Expo West is part of Tradeshow Week's Fastest 50. We believe this achievement results from the consistent growth in the natural products industry along with our willingness to create a community event environment for both sides of the aisle," said Penton's Alan Peterson, president, trade show & conference group.
