On 17 November, House Foods Corp. will launch a new addition to their well-received “Ukon no Chikara (Power of Turmeric)” functional beverage series, which was first launched in May 2004. The new product will be cassis/orange flavored, a popular choice among women. As the product is aimed at women’s needs, each 100 ml bottle contains a mere 16 kcal, and supplies 100 mg of vitamin C and 30 mg of curcumin (a health ingredient found in turmeric). The product is designed for people who are busy throughout the day and feel the need for a boost from turmeric. Priced at JPY 190/100 ml bottle.
