Compulsive canine habits genetic

oliver_21.jpgLike humans, some dog breeds (and possibly other pets, too) are victims of obsessive compulsive disorder. A recent study identifies a gene in Dobermans with this disorder. What’s interesting about this is the implications this may have for humans –especially as it relates to OCD and possibly autism. This New York Times article discusses it further.
