Farmers go viral with 'I'm Farming and I Grow It' video

Farming’s got its sexy back thanks to three young Kansas farmers who’ve gone viral with “I’m Farming and I Grow It.”

Their music video parodies LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It.”

I caught the video at about 20,000 views Tuesday, the day after the Peterson brothers loaded it to YouTube. Views neared 700,000 the next morning.  In just two hours this morning, the counter jumped another 24,000.

I’m not a big viral video follower, but this is a must-watch. Be careful, you might find yourself singing:

"Gotta feed everybody

Gotta feed everybody

Gotta feed everybody (uh-huh)

I work out (side!)"

The Wichita Eagle shares the story of how the song and video came to be.

Brother Greg Peterson is a journalism student who wants to spread the word about agriculture. He’s definitely done that in a new-media way. And as the video continues to spread, I’m certain the Peterson brothers’ story doesn’t end here.
