Aura Cacia, the leader in aromatherapy and personal care products, has released two new essential oils that are unique botanicals in the tea tree family. This brings consumers the only true, single botanical varieties (not blends) of lemon tea tree and lavender tea tree on retail shelves today.
"Our new varieties retain the strength and properties of tea tree with the aromatic properties of lavender and lemon," said Shannon Ousley, director of marketing for Aura Cacia.
Known as rosalina, a relative of Australian tea tree, Aura Cacia's lavender tea tree contains soothingly sweet and floral aroma constituents without the potently medicinal aroma of tea tree. Lavender tea tree's soothing properties make it ideal for air diffusion and your skin care needs.
Aura Cacia's lemon tea tree is also an Australian tea tree relative, and offers the protecting power of tea tree with an uplifting aroma similar to lemon."The aromatherapy effects of its lemony-sweet citral and citronellol constituents have earned it the nickname 'happy oil,'" said Ousley.
Lemon tea tree's purifying properties make it ideal for air diffusion and homemade cleaning products.
Both tea tree varieties are boxed and include an insert with recipes and suggestions for use. Additional information and suggested uses are available on Aura Cacia's website.
The new tea trees will be available in stores beginning July 2014.
