Caffeinated couch potatoes move longer

Caffeine affects athletes and sedentary adults differently, suggests a new study.

They won't be happier about it, but couch potatoes will actually exercise for longer after a shot of caffeine, according to a new, preliminary study from the University of Buffalo, published online by Nutrition Research.

Caffeine boosts performance in trained athletes. For those whose laps mainly consists of runs to the fridge during commercials, the compound doesn't help their sprint times.
