China's new food safety law

China put its first Food Safety Law into effect on June 1, 2009. However, over the past four years, food safety issues are still abound. On Oct. 29, 2013, China’s Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) released a revised draft of the new Food Safety Law on its website, asking for public comments until Nov. 29, 2013.

To submit comments, interested parties can visit chinalaw.gov.cn or directly email [email protected].
