Nutrition experts increase omega-3 recommendations

Top nutritionists revise their recommendations to include yet more PUFAs

Eat more fat, say members of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. They're talking omega-3s, of course, so put down the Dorito's. In an updated position paper, the Academy increased their recommendations for omega-3 fatty acids, suggesting that adults should consumer between 20-35 calories from dietary fat, increase their consumption of omega-3 fatty acids and limit their intake of saturated and trans fats.
