A new study from the Washington University School of Medicine suggests sucralose may have more of an impact on the body, particularly the way it handles sugar, than previously thought.

New research on Splenda ain't that sweet. Sucralose, the main ingredient in those little yellow packets, may have more of an effect on the body than anyone thought. A new study suggests that the sugar alternative modifies the way the body handles sugar, and may eventually cause insulin resistance and diabetes.
