Kelapo taps The Touch to grow brand

Emerging as the leader of high-quality, innovative coconut oil products, Kelapo Coconut Oil announces a new partnership with The Touch Agency to further sales and brand reach. The Touch Agency, a strategic marketing and sales management firm specializing the in the consumer packaged goods industry, has previously worked with recognizable companies such as Amy’s Kitchen and Emergen-C.

“Coconut oil sales are outpacing olive oil sales and Kelapo is at the forefront of this new trend in cooking oils,” explains Erin Meagher, founder of Kelapo. “Consumers are the ones driving this trend and with The Touch Agency’s help, we’re positioning ourselves to be first in the consumer’s minds when they think about coconut oil.”

The Touch Agency has been creating operational campaigns and brand awareness for companies since 1998. The key in their success revolves around five principals: brand positioning, formalized growth strategy, effectively and affordable drive awareness, leverage fact-based selling, and a high-energy sales management team. All of which Meagher says will be the catalyst to the venture.  

“We really value brands that bring expertise to a category and believe that Kelapo embodies that with their full line of coconut oil products,” added Aaron Henderson, vice president of sales for The Touch Agency.

Kelapo and The Touch Agency officially began the partnership Oct. 1, 2013.
