Acquisitions Fuel Growth for Frutarom

Supplier develops a taste for marrying flavors with science-based health ingredients.

With sales of $243.8 million in 2005 (up 24% over 2004), Frutarom knows what success tastes like. Sales rose 7.4% in the first quarter of 2006, driven by a double-digit increase in sales of healthy ingredients for the functional foods business. Acquisitions, investment in innovation and geographical expansion also fueled growth for Frutarom, an Israeli-based company specializing in flavors and ingredients for the food, nutrition, pharma and cosmetic industries.
