The majority of Americans – 84%– perceive supplements as safe, according to the “2007 Council for Responsible Nutrition Consumer Confidence” survey. However the survey shows overall consumer confi dence has been dropping over the past eight years.
“We need to fi gure out how we can do more to build on consumer trust,” CRN Vice President of Communications Judy Blatman says.
