Creating healthy products is not a new concept for ConAgra Foods (Omaha, Neb.). The company introduced Healthy Choice over 15 years ago. Since then, it has added more health and wellness brands, such as Egg Beaters and Lightlife, a soy-based meat alternative brand acquired in 2000. With $14.5 billion in annual sales, the company’s 30+ brands include Armour, Butterball and Van Camp’s, in addition to wellness-oriented lines.
