Part of the strategy that DSM has now for the nutritional products business is to build in the health nutrition ingredients field, what’s often called the nutraceuticals field,” said Joe LaPlaca, vice president of dietary supplement and business development at DSM Nutritional Products (DNP). “This is one of the areas that they want to focus on in terms of innovation for this business. Our mission now is really to build in this health nutrition area.”
