Economic Factors Influence Shopping Choices

One issue that could potentially negatively impact retailers of natural & organic offerings is the current U.S. economic downturn. Consumer confi dence in the economy plunged 17% from the second half of 2007 to the fi rst half of 2008, according to a survey released May 30 by Nielsen Co.
