NBJ: How was business in 2005?

KP: The rapid growth and even more rapid decline of the low-carb business caught many companies by surprise. Issues like excess inventories and even obsolete products made for a difficult first two quarters. Over the last half of the year the excess inventory bubble has worked through the system and retail sales of nutritional bars have rebounded some, although not back to last year’s levels.
