Retailers Go Crackers for Late Julys Products

Late July Snacks LLC has handily proved that it’s not too late for organic start-ups. When the fledgling company opened its booth at Natural Products Expo East in Fall 2003 it had no retail customers or distributors. By the close of the trade show it had been signed by UNFI, Tree of Life, Whole Foods and Wild Oats. Today Late July organic crackers are in more than 2,000 stores, and President and COO Nicole Dawes, anticipates sales of $3-5 million by year’s end.
