EAS appoints Regional Director for Asia office

International food, health and nutrition policy consultancy EAS has appointed Dr Daniel Tsi as Regional Director at its Singapore-based EAS Asia office.

Dr Tsi joins the consultancy from multinational food and health supplement company Cerebos Pacific Limited, where he held the position of Senior Regional Manager, Scientific Research.

Dr Tsi, who holds a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacology, is an expert in health and nutrition science, clinical research and medicinal plant pharmacology. His extensive experience includes ten years of scientific-clinical research management and regulatory support across Asia, nine published peer reviewed scientific papers, and the development of various functional foods and nutritional supplements.

EAS director Simon Pettman said: “Daniel is a scientific leader with strong experience in the entire chain of R&D-Regulatory activities from product concept and regulatory support to product development and clinical research. His expertise will provide invaluable support across EAS as it expands its services in response to client demand.”


EAS provides strategic consulting advice on European, Asian and international regulation on food and nutritional products. It provides companies with regulatory and strategic advice for the marketing and approval of their products in Europe and Asia. EAS also advises governments, trade associations and companies on the impact of European, Asian and global policy.

EAS has offices in Brussels, Italy and Singapore. EAS-Italy is a branch of EAS located in northern Italy to follow EFSA developments in Parma closely.
