Q&A with Niman Ranch: What does 'natural' meat mean?


It's outdoor BBQ season and many consumers are encountering the "natural" label in the meat section of their local supermarkets.

But what does the "natural" label really mean when it comes to meat products?

To find out, we went to Mel Coleman, vice president of special projects for Niman Ranch, which works with more than 700 small, family-owned farms and ranches across the U.S.
