Smart Balance switches to non-GMO

Following Cheerios and Grape Nuts, Boulder Brand's Smart Balance announced it will transition its buttery spreads to non-GMO. The committment is far from a small undertaking for the company. 

First Cheerios. Then Grape Nuts. Now, Smart Balance plans to join the non-GMO ranks. The popular buttery spread is another conventional brand that plans to go non-GMO, parent company Boulder Brands Inc. announced Monday.
