Pharmavite LLC, the maker of SOYJOY snack bars, is pleased to announce the brand's official gluten-free certification from the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO), the leading gluten-free certification program in the world. While SOYJOY, an all-natural snack bar baked with real fruit and ground whole soybeans, has always been gluten-free, this official recognition assures that those suffering from gluten intolerance or leading a gluten-free lifestyle, can snack confidently on SOYJOY.
The gluten-free certification process involved a thorough, independent third-party examination of SOYJOY's development, baking and manufacturing process to ensure the product's complete gluten-free status. With this certification, SOYJOY's packaging will feature the official "GF" logo starting this summer. The logo symbolizes the high quality and high standards that the GFCO calls all of its certified brands and restaurants to uphold, specifically the requirement that there be less that 10 ppm of gluten in all raw and finished goods, as well as a required audit of all facilities used in manufacturing.
"While SOYJOY has always been a great gluten-free option, it was extremely important for us to showcase our commitment to the gluten-free community by opening our doors to the rigorous certification process of GFCO," said Frances Garcia, associate brand manager at SOYJOY. "We want all our consumers, particularly those with celiac disease and gluten intolerance, to enjoy SOYJOY with the certainty that they are eating gluten-free, without any worries of cross-contamination."
All nine flavors of SOYJOY contain at least four grams of protein and are completely free of trans fats, hydrogenated oils, artificial colors and flavors, preservatives and additives. No matter which flavor you choose to enjoy, you're getting a nutritious, gluten-free satisfying snack full of real food goodness with only 130 to 140 calories per bar.
