Tart looks sweet at Expo East 2012

It's time to challenge the sugar-overloaded American palate. According to one Expo East 2012 exhibitor, "tart is the new black." With healthy probiotics and kicky flavors, fermented and vinegar-based foods and drinks offer more than just pucker. These products seen and tasted on the show floor are riding the tart trend, from fizzy new kombuchas to sexy-looking sauerkraut.
