Coffee. We love our coffee and, as of late, our coffee products, too. More than 50% of Americans over the age of 18 drink coffee every day. That's a whopping 150 million daily drinkers according to the National Coffee Association and The Specialty Coffee Association of America. And it goes without saying we're not talking about instant coffee.

As the market grows, so too does the demand for unique and innovative offerings. In fact, a significant driver of growth in coffee is the increasing interest in gourmet varieties. This has led specialty coffee sales to increase at a rate of approximately 20% a year.

These days, roughly 30 million Americans drink specialty beverages regularly, such as lattes, cappuccinos or cold brews. An, while demand for gourmet is seen across generations, 48% of millennials consume gourmet coffee.
