MISSOULA, Mont. - TSI Health Sciences, a leading developer, producer and marketer of nutraceutical ingredients, will be hosting a VendorWorks session at the SupplySide West International Tradeshow and Conference in Las Vegas, NV, entitled "Supporting Health with ATP" on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, from 12 - 12:50 p.m. in Toscana rooms 3601-3604, 3610. PEAK ATP(R), TSI's patented dietary supplement ingredient, has been shown to increase circulatory ATP pools, thereby helping to stimulate blood flow and delivery of oxygen and nutrients to peripheral sites. During the VendorWorks session, Eliezer Rapaport, Ph.D., will explain the pathway of ATP (adenosine 5'-triphosphate) and how it provides energy, reduces fatigue, protects vital organs, provides anti-aging benefits and improves muscle strength and recovery.
"ATP plays a critical role in the human body," said Larry Kolb, TSI Health Sciences president, U.S. operations. "This VendorWorks will serve as a forum to discuss the recent discoveries of specific families of ATP and adenosine receptors that have been shown to regulate virtually every physiological function, and why these discoveries are generating worldwide interest in oral ATP. Dr. Rapport will also explain why recent evidence suggests that the loss of physiological ATP pools is a leading factor in the aging process."
Eliezer Rapaport, Ph.D.
Dr. Rapaport was the first to make the revolutionary discovery that the administration of adenosine 5'-triphosphate (ATP) results in the immediate expansion of liver, blood and plasma (extra cellular) pools (steady state levels) of ATP. He further discovered and characterized the physiological and pharmacological roles of normal and expanded pools of organ, blood and blood plasma ATP pools in the treatment of clinical indications and aging. His work has helped to establish therapeutic and nutritional applications of ATP benefiting cardiac, liver and skeletal muscle functions and organ protection, vascular health, glycemic (blood sugar) control, regulation of weight loss, treatment of type II diabetes and arthritic diseases. Dr. Rapaport earned his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Johns Hopkins University in 1971. Since that time, he has served on the faculties of Harvard Medical School at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston University School of Medicine, and Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology. His research activities are described in 57 published, original, peer-reviewed articles.
PEAK ATP is covered by a broad portfolio of patents, licensed from Dr. Eliezer Rapaport. Produced through a proprietary fermentation process, PEAK ATP delivers the exact molecule the human body needs to create energy. Extensive scientific evidence shows that PEAK ATP has a dramatic effect on circulation without adversely affecting heart rate or blood pressure. Never before has ATP been legitimately available for dietary supplement use. Other dietary supplements may claim to enhance physiological ATP synthesis, but only the exogenous administration of ATP itself has been scientifically proven to effectively elevate ATP levels. TSI works closely with its manufacturing licensees to ensure the proper technology is utilized in order to enhance the absorption of ATP into the bloodstream. PEAK ATP has applications for energy, athletic performance and anti-aging.
