How to be a nutrition detective for your child

Food issues in kids are simple: Either a food your child is eating is irritating, or there's a nutrient deficiency, says nutritionist Kelly Dorfman, author of the new book What's Eating Your Child?. To become a "nutrition detective" for your child, start by keeping a week-long diary of what your child eats—really eats, she says.
