Medical science has come a long way since the days of blood letting and leeches.
This summer the Atlantic ran a feature called "The Measured Man" about an astrophysicist and computer scientist who believes that one day, perhaps in the not-too-distant future, computers will be able to read our genetic code and find illness before it even has a chance to take root.
