Botanical Herb Offerings Treated Using BI's Proprietary Steam Sterilization Process

LONG BEACH, Calif., December 4, 2006 -- BI Nutraceuticals, the leading supplier of quality raw materials and custom blends for 30 years, today announced the availability of six new organic ingredients, including anise seed, fennel seed, ginger root, licorice root, psyllium and slippery elm. These new additions have expanded BI's organic product line to a total of 23 product offerings. Each new ingredient is certified organic and treated via BI's proprietary steam sterilization process, Protexx HP(tm), which reduces microbial contaminants in botanical herbs using super-heated dry steam.
