New Orleans will mark the Company’s second IFT, and the range of products and relationships with key strategic partners has grown significantly. Over the last year the company also expanded operations to overseas markets and has built capabilities to supply ingredients to its international customers there.
“We now have a well balanced portfolio of ingredients to talk to customers about” comments Rudi van Mol, President of TIH. “Erythritol is an ingredient attracting wider interest from the food & beverage industries as an increasing number of manufacturers seek a sweetening system with a more natural appeal”. The Ingredient House works strategically with its manufacturer of Erythritol and will offer visitors to booth 3647 examples of beverages using Erythritol that clearly have a very clean all natural taste profile. “Xylitol and Mannitol are also a focus for us” explains van Mol, “while the focus is different, we have seen great benefit to seeking a strategic partnership with a key manufacturer and developing opportunities in the marketplace in partnership. It is an approach which TIH will build upon with a select group of internationally based food ingredient players who value our support to market their ingredients around the world”. The Ingredient House will also offer visitors to booth 3647 the chance to indulge in a breakfast oatmeal bar containing Freeze Dried Fruit Powders and fruit pieces from another strategic partner of TIH.
Besides the above listed focus products for this year’s show, we will also have available all the information and know how on our other developing range of ingredients. This range now includes High Intensity Sweeteners, Bulk Sweeteners and Bulking Agents, Hydrocolloids, Fibers and a small selection of Specialty Items. “It’s a package of services we offer” comments van Mol, “TIH provides customers value priced products and has now expanded this capability to deliver ingredients in many countries around the world”.
