NeoCell has kicked off its annual fall campaign with Vitamin Angels. The goal is to help the non-profit organization with its mission to provide lifesaving and life changing vitamins to children and mothers in need.

From October 1 through December 31, NeoCell will donate 25 cents to Vitamin Angels for every product that it ships.

The campaign will include the use of special neck tags on products to promote Vitamin Angels’ mission, as well using #GivingIsBeautiful on social media to encourage people to donate to Vitamin Angels directly. NeoCell has also selected Vitamin Angels as its recipient for Giving Tuesday.

NeoCell has been able to raise more than $320,000 for Vitamin Angels since the beginning of the partnership. That translates into more than 1.2 million children helped around the world, as the cost for Vitamin Angels to provide critically needed vitamins to a child or mother for a year is 25 cents.

According to a study in the Lancet, undernutrition is the underlying cause of 45 percent of all child deaths worldwide; that’s more than a million innocent lives lost per year. Millions more will never reach their full physical or mental potential due to inadequate diets. Many of these children’s lives can be saved or their lives changed dramatically through improved nutrition.

Vitamin Angels is on track to reach more than 40 million children and mothers in over 50 countries with vitamin A - one of five micronutrients critical for growth and development – in addition to providing prenatal vitamins, children’s multivitamins, and deworming treatments.
