Albion's Creatine MagnaPower self affirmed GRAS

Proprietary blend of creatine chelated with magnesium facilitates vital ATP production and oxygen delivery to working muscles.

Albion Human Nutrition announced self-affirmed GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status for its patented technology, Creatine MagnaPower®. Creatine MagnaPower’s proprietary blend of creatine chelated with magnesium facilitates vital ATP production and oxygen delivery to working muscles. Albion received notification of its status from an independent GRAS panel of experts.

“Creatine has steadily increased in popularity as a sports supplement and anti-aging treatment for sarcopenia,” said Max Motyka, director of sales at Albion. “Albion discovered and patented the science behind creating a single molecule by combining creatine with a single magnesium atom. This special molecule form, called a chelate, is Creatine MagnaPower and has scientifically proven advantages.”

Creatine MagnaPower has been shown to have a greater impact on muscular power and growth. The addition of GRAS status allows the technology to be used in varied applications worldwide.
