Second Annual Organic Film "Trailer" Competition

Craig King to host viewing and award ceremony at
Organic Summit, October 13, 2010
BOULDER, CO — The Organic Summit (www.theorganicsummit.com) has issued a call for entries for its Second Annual Organic Film Trailer Competition highlighting film trailers addressing organic agriculture and industry. This is an opportunity for filmmakers creating works on organic agriculture and organic food, to show their film trailers at the premier leadership meeting for organic industry stakeholders.
Trailers from up to 10 work-in-progress films will be shown at the Organic Summit, October 13, 2010 in Boston, MA.  One trailer will be selected as the Organic Summit’s Pick of the Harvest. The award will be presented by Craig King, chef and producer of the documentary Here We Grow.
The competition seeks to identify promising productions that have not yet premiered and support the most relevant upcoming films addressing topics related to organic agriculture and industry. "Film is the greatest story teller, and these stories need to be told" said King, host of the event. Narrative, animation, and documentary projects are welcome. Films can be in development, production, or post-production, with plans to finish at any length. Selected contestants will be invited to attend the Organic Summit and given an opportunity to introduce their film trailer.
Trailer submissions should be up to 3-5 minutes in length, accompanied by a synopsis (100 words maximum) and submitted in DVD format to:
