BI Nutraceuticals Boosts Chinese Milling Capacity

BI Nutraceuticals has installed a fifth mill at its 75,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Suzhou, China, increasing its milling capacity by 35% in order to meet increased customer demand for the company's ingredient offerings and manufacturing services.

"This installation further exhibits BI's commitment to supporting our customers' needs both today and in the future," stated George Pontiakos, President and CEO, BI Nutraceuticals. "In addition to providing increased manufacturing capacity to support our U.S. operations, this facility also houses a full-service quality assurance lab to test all extracts and ingredients purchased in the region to ensure they are free of contaminants prior to being shipped to the U.S."

Along with milling services, which allows for the delivery of ingredients in a broad range of particle sizes, BI also offers steam sterilization at the Suzhou, China facility. The company's Protexx HP® process is the industry's only species-specific, organic sterilization method.
