BIO-CAT breaks ground on new facility

BIO-CAT, the enzyme industry service leader, held a groundbreaking ceremony recently for a new 15,000-square-foot building. This expansion “will allow for growth in our capabilities in blending and packaging of enzymes to meet our customer’s needs”, said Chris Shuler, CEO.  With this expansion, BIO-CAT plans to hire additional employees by year end. In 2012, BIO-CAT completed another expansion to include building a brand new R&D facility and additional office spaces.

BIO-CAT operates another business in Minnesota, which manufactures bacteria through a fermentation process. The combination of technologies between BIO-CAT and BIO-CAT Microbials allows the company to expand their custom solutions by developing unique enzyme and bacteria blends.
