Bonneau Products becomes Bon Foods

Bonneau Products Inc. has changed its name to Bon Foods Inc. “Bon,” which translates to “good” in French, reflects the company’s new ownership and commitment to clean-label ingredients.

“The name change communicates our history, as well as our dedication for good, wholesome products,” said Thom King, president of Bon Foods and Steviva Ingredients. “In the past 90 days, we have built out our key-point infrastructure, and as part of our strategy for the future we will further increase our focus on clean-label, all-natural products and our co-packing capabilities.”

The company will continue to offer the Chef Paul Bonneau food portfolio of sauces and vinegars; however, the lineup will be reformulated with all-natural, gluten-free and MSG-free ingredients to better meet the needs of restaurateurs catering to today’s health-conscious consumers.

In addition, the Bon Foods facility, which King purchased in December 2013, now houses a state-of-the-art R&D kitchen and laboratory. The company also offers co-packing and contract manufacturing and is in the planning stages of building out its hot-fill bottling production line for the manufacturing and packaging of ketchups, salsas and other bottled condiments.

To coincide with the name change, Bon Foods has launched a new web site, bonfoods.com, which is designed to be an up-to-date resource for food manufacturers.

The company will continue to operate in its current structure, and customer contacts will remain unchanged. The general corporate email address is [email protected].
