Cyvex Nutrition receives halal certification

Cyvex recognizes the importance of this dietary standard to the 1.9 billion Muslims living across the world.

Cyvex Nutrition, a leading provider of proprietary, condition-specific ingredients, received Halal Certification (Certificate document and No.: CYV.7713.120001.US) on Nov. 14, 2012, for all its facilities from IFANCA. A Halal certificate guarantees that products comply with Islamic dietary requirements, and recognizes that the products are permissible under Islamic law. Halal certification also provides added value as customers show increasing concern for humanitarian and ethical issues. Many consumers also see Halal certification as a symbol of superior quality.

“Cyvex recognizes the importance of this dietary standard to the 1.9 billion Muslims living across the world,” said Constance Ostler, director of sales and marketing at Cyvex. “We feel it is critical that Cyvex's ingredients meet the strict dietary needs of our customer and consumer base.”
