DNP International shifts strategy

DNP International Co. Inc., one of the world’s leading suppliers of high-quality nutritional products, announced that it will move its North American headquarters from Santa Fe Springs, Calif., to a new facility in La Mirada, Calif., and shift its strategic focus to sourcing ingredients, particularly from China, developing new products and pursuing joint ventures.

The moves follow the recent announcement that Green Wave Ingredients (GWI) on June 1 will become DNP’s exclusive agent for North American sales and marketing. DNP will be the driving force for finding innovative products for GWI’s extensive customer base.

Describing the move and new strategy, DNP founder David Ji said: “It’s time for me to concentrate on my strengths, including my longtime relationships with manufacturers in China and the ability to find new products and joint-venture partners, while ensuring that our quality control is the finest in the nation.”

Mr. Ji stressed that DNP is dedicated to being the “best-in-class,” by creating value and exceeding expectations of its customers and employees through market leadership and operational excellence.
