Stephen Lukawski, global business development, sales and marketing director for Fruit d'Or Nutraceuticals, has announced that the supplier has made a long-term commitment to supporting the charitable efforts of Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization committed to reaching  underserved children under 5, pregnant women and new mothers with lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals globally.

"Through my career in the nutraceuticals industry, the idea, desire and practice of giving back, of providing healthy support to potentially millions of people, has been a significant part of who I am and how I do business,” Lukawsk said. “Fruit d'Or fully agrees with this sentiment, and immediately wanted to be a full partner in Vitamin Angels, doing what we can do, when we can, to nourish its objectives."

Among many activities such as monetary donations to Vitamin Angels, promoting Vitamin Angels at tradeshow exhibits, and providing support through the Fruit d'Or Nutraceuticals websites (crannaturell.ca and fruit-dornutraceuticals.ca), Lukawski announced that he and Fruit d'Or plan to host a charitable golf tournament featuring National Hockey League star players, sometime in 2014.
