In addition to celebrating a decade of sustained IMG growth, Hilton's 16-year tenure in the healthy lifestyles industry allows for both reflection on and anticipation of the category's future. "As this industry matures, several issues will continue to gain importance. One of those is accountability of manufacturers to produce safe and effective products. Another is the re-building of consumer trust and confidence. Both of these will require increased efforts to self regulate, improve quality control procedures, and promote and protect the cultivation of intellectual property. From my perspective, our industry's future is in our own hands," said Hilton.
Hilton looks forward to the next 10 years and beyond in an industry he believes has yet to reach its pinnacle.
