Four vendors get recognized for playing a key role in securing goods.

National Enzyme names 'vendors of excellence'

National Enzyme Co. doesn’t take vendor relationships lightly. They seek to build relationships with vendors that work for their customers just as hard as they do. “While our criteria for vendors may be rigid, due to our lofty expectations, we make sure they know how much we appreciate them,” states Tammy Cox, senior buyer, who presented awards with of Charlie Amidon, chief operating officer.

This was the inaugural year of incorporating vendors with the National Enzyme Co. year-end meeting. Four vendors were invited and surprised to be given awards of recognition. The vendors play a key role in securing goods, making them a valuable asset in contributing to National Enzyme Co.’s commitment to quality and excellence. Amidon said: “It’s high time the industry woke up and understood the importance of the entire supply chain and recognize the excellent performers.”

Receiving awards were: BIO-CAT for “Vendor of the Year”, Stauber Performance Ingredients Inc. as “Most Resourceful”, Pharm-Rx Chemical Corp. as the “Specialty Vendor of the Year”, and the “New Comer of the Year” award was presented to Paradigm Packaging.

“Being invited to the inaugural vendor portion was great, we had no idea what to expect. The whole concept, with the meeting, teambuilding and awards was unbelievable. We can’t wait till next year!” stated Brian Huffman, BIO-CAT cofounder and vice president of operations.
