As an entrepreneur, the constant wave of advice coming at you from all sides can get overwhelming. Lauren McCullough of NuturMe has this pearl of wisdom for the $0.02 pile: don't run your company according to other people's words. Your brand isn't (or shouldn't be) like everyone else's, so don't expect its development to exactly mirror another product's.

"There's a lot of precious advice out there, but make sure you learn your own company and your own business so well that you can make educated decisions," McCullough encourages. "The lessons get learned as you continue on. If you ever have a bump in the road, don't worry about it. Figure out how to problem-solve and you'll get over it." She also points out that going viral isn't everything. "Growth is exciting, but it can also be a little bit scary and dangerous as well. Sometimes, you need to move a bit slower than you'd want."
