Is Procter & Gamble losing the innovation game?

Will cost cutting at the corporate level free up cash for investment in new product development at Procter & Gamble?

Considering P&G’s recent acquisition of New Chapter, one must wonder if acquiring a supplement company is their step towards better understanding and competing in health & wellness.
