JOB TITLE: Regional Sales Representative
REPORTS TO: Vice President, Sales
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for developing sales and managing the business relationship between customer companies in assigned territory (western U.S.), distributor Sales Representatives where applicable, and Embria Health Sciences. This position must keep in contact with all points of influence to optimize sales of Embria Health Sciences products and will work closely with other Embria personnel to identify, develop, and implement customer advertising, promotional opportunities and marketing plans.
College degree and Nutritional Industry experience is preferred with a minimum of two years sales experience in related field. Must possess strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, able to use lap-top computer and technical presentation devices, and be able to work effectively under constant time pressures and with frequent interruptions. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, set priorities, organize work effectively, identify and analyze problems, propose reasonable solutions, make logical decisions, execute plans and provide follow-up as required. Must maintain the integrity of highly confidential business information, possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable. Overnight travel is required up to 80% of the time. Living in Iowa is not required.
