Sabinsa Corporation Expands Sales and Distribution Capabilities in South East Asia, Opens Office in Malaysia

PISCATAWAY, N.J., September 27, 2006 - Sabinsa Corporation, a manufacturer and supplier of high quality herbal extracts, cosmeceuticals, minerals and specialty fine chemicals, today announced it has opened Sabinsa Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, a suburb of Kuala Lumpur. This new office will serve as a raw materials sales and distribution center servicing the South East Asian market.

"The dietary supplement industry in Malaysia is booming, and as our business in the region steadily increased it became evident that we needed to establish an office to better serve our customers," stated Todd Norton, president, Sabinsa Corporation. "Sabinsa Malaysia will additionally focus on identifying indigenous botanicals with unique health applications that can be studied further at our research and development facilities in India."

Sujith Sathyadas has been appointed business development manager in Malaysia and will serve as the liaison between Sabinsa's Malaysia and corporate offices. He will also direct sales and marketing efforts, establish distribution channels and implement business development initiatives. Prior to joining Sabinsa, Sathyadas was a member of the
corporate strategy team at Nicholas Primal India, Ltd. He holds an
MBA from the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta, India. Jamuna Imee Ramanadan has been hired as Sabinsa Malaysia's office manager. She will handle day-to-day activities and oversee office operations.
