Sandy Gooch predicts growth for organic, supplements

Hall of Legends inductee Sandy Gooch had a near death experience that inspired her to eat better and bring quality food to the people that wanted it.

She went on to create Mrs. Gooch's Natural Food Markets, pioneering concepts of quality and marketing that continue to shape the way Americans buy food.

“She is literally the creator of what we now know as the natural food market. She created a culture,” says Loren Israelsen, executive director of the United Natural Products Alliance.
