UNPA welcomes Natural Factors

The United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA), an international alliance of forward-looking companies dedicated to providing consumers with natural health products of superior quality, benefit and reliability, is pleased to welcome Natural Factors to its growing membership.

Natural Factors, based in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, with U.S. headquarters in Monroe, Wash., is a leading, family-owned manufacturer of dietary supplements. The company also operates “Factor Farms,” which include more than 550 acres of organic farmland in British Columbia’s Okanagan region and Monroe, Wash., where organically farmed plants, vegetables and herbs are grown and then processed at the company’s manufacturing facilities.

With the largest and most sophisticated laboratories in the natural products industry, Natural Factors is also an industry leader in quality assurance. By developing new standards, procedures and testing methodologies, each product is guaranteed to meet the most rigorous standards, with extensive quality control testing in the company’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.

“The combination of human skill and experience, capital investment, commitment to quality and continuous improvement and first-rate suppliers makes for great dietary supplements,” said Loren Israelsen, UNPA president. “I see all of this at Natural Factors. We are thrilled to welcome Natural Factors into the UNPA family and look forward to its continued raising of the bar for quality natural health products.”

“"Natural Factors is very pleased to be a member of UNPA as its vision and goals align very closely with our own, said Kathy McKnight, vice president of sales and marketing for Natural Factors. “As one of North America’s leading manufacturers of dietary supplements, Natural Factors invests in people, science and technology to deliver the highest quality products to enhance the health of people around the world, and we fully support UNPA’s mission to support safety, science and quality in natural health products. We look forward to working with UNPA to help it carry out its important initiatives and facilitate the economic and political growth of the industry.”
