TMR launches mobile-friendly website

Trace Minerals Research (TMR), a leading provider of trace mineral based supplements for over 40 years, has officially launched a mobile-friendly version of its website that can be easily navigated to allow a positive user experience for the increasing number of mobile internet users.

“Recent research reports that 64 percent of Americans own a smartphone,” said Matt Kilts, managing partner of TMR. “There’s no doubt that many of those browsing our site are doing so on their smartphone. When customers or potential customers visit our website on their mobile device, we want them to have a positive experience. Research proves that if a mobile user accesses a site and gets frustrated or can’t find what they’re looking for, they’re more likely to leave and go to another site and that’s exactly what we don’t want.”

When accessing TMR’s site, anyone using a mobile device will be automatically redirected to the mobile site for easy and simple navigation. Unlike some mobile sites that contain abbreviate information as compared to the standard site, TMR’s mobile site contains the same information as the standard site so all users will have full access to all information contained online.

It’s not surprising to note that in 2014, Internet usage on mobile devices exceeded PC usage according to data gathered by comScore. As tablet, smartphone, and emerging devices like Smart TV and Smart Watch usage increases, Internet mobile device usage will only continue to increase.
