Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Callaway Consumer Products chose Natural/Specialty Sales Inc. to represent its line of Organic Bistro Whole Life Meals throughout the Western United States. Natural/Specialty Sales Inc. will provide trade contacts and market expertise to promote the oven-ready meals.

Saint Paul, Minn.-based Kvale Good Natured Games LLC will distribute its board game Head1Liners with an eco-friendly game from Bioviva, based in Montpelier, France. The Bioviva board game shares the same name as the company and includes trivia about animals, the planet and sustainable lifestyles.

Natural Rx Brokers, based in Boulder, Colo., expanded its product range to include BornFree baby bottles and cups. Boca Raton, Fla.-based BornFree makes bottles free of polycarbonate plastic, Bisphenol-A and phthalates.

Morton Grove, Ill.-based Lifeway Foods Inc. will supply four new flavors of organic kefir to Colorado?s King Soopers Grocery stores, owned by Cincinnati, Ohio-based Kroger. The additional flavors include blueberry, pomegranate/a?ai, raspberry and strawberries n? cream.

The Belleview, N.J.-based neutraceutical supplier Ecuadorian Rainforest LLC announced it obtained certificates of free sale for cat?s claw powder and echinacea-purpurea-extract powder. The certificates of free sale will reduce the amount of paperwork that manufacturers in Mexico will have to complete before they sell their finished products.

Los Angeles, Calif.-based Reed?s Inc. struck new distribution deals in California, New York, Connecticut and Maine to support its growth in sales and distribution.

The Boulder, Colo.-based mix1 beverage company will sponsor ski racer Sarah Smith and the Eldora Mountain Ski & Snowboard Club. The sponsorship deals benefit more than 200 young athletes with a passion for skiing.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based organic lip-balm company Eco Lips Inc. introduced a private labeling program for companies that use lip balm for resale, gifting or promotion. The company donates 1 percent of profits to carbon offsets and provides small retailers discounts on stock formulas.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Pure & Natural, a new line of personal care products, helped sponsor the Earth Pledge FutureFashion show in New York City. The company?s bar-soap packaging is embedded with seeds and, when planted, will sprout baby?s breath flowers. Top contestants of the TV show Project Runway will design canvas handbags made from the company?s biodegradable packaging.

The Juneau, Ala.-based Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute launched a free online program for retailers. Alaska Seafood U educates consumers about types of fish, harvesting methods, nutrition facts and cooking tips.

St. Augustine, Fla.-based Tree of Life launched a campaign to educate retail staff about how to sell organic and natural products. The year-long campaign includes tools such as the Extraordinary Organic Business Booster training manual.

Edison, N.J.-based Blue Marble Brands launched a new company focusing on building industry-leading brands in the organic, natural and specialty markets. The new organization already markets products such as Woodstock Farms, Organic Baby, Rising Moon Organics and Harvest Bay.

BI Nutraceuticals, based in Long Beach, Calif., named CK Foods as the company?s exclusive distributor for Eastern Canada. CK Foods will distribute more than 700 ingredients such as beverage extracts and dietary supplements.

Portsmouth, N.H.-based Lollipop Tree, a family-owned food manufacturer, raised enough money to donate 30 animals to Heifer Project International. Thirty families in different areas of the world will each receive a cow and pass on this gift by giving one or more of the animals? offspring to someone else.

The San Francisco-based skincare company Juice Beauty launched 100 percent-recycled packaging to celebrate Earth Day.

Dr. Wayne Diamond?s Herpanacine Skin Support System supplement received the first-ever Best of Beauty award by Better Nutrition Magazine. The product has been marketed by Glenside, Pa.-based Diamond Herpanacine Associates for more than 18 years, and provides vitamins, herbs and antioxidants for skin health.
