Cooking demos abound at Expo
Just follow your nose. The show floor of this year?s Expo East will be filled with pleasant aromas, thanks to the dozens of cooking demonstrations taking place over the weekend. These demos will feature several ?hot trend? categories, such as gluten-free and special diet meals, as well as the best menu offerings for in-store foodservice. Chefs will be available to answer questions about ingredients and techniques and—most importantly—there will be more than enough free samples to go around.

Explore well-being
Deepak Chopra, a world-renowned leader in the field of mind-body medicine, will deliver Natural Products Expo East?s 2005 keynote address on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m. Chopra is the founder of The Chopra Center for Well Being, an organization devoted to the expansion of his healing approach using the integration of the best of Western medicine with natural healing traditions. In his keynote address, he will discuss his successes integrating physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellness, and how he weaves this with a philosophy of peace and nonviolence.
