What's new at Expo West 2011?

Expo West 2011 boasts a number of exciting features to further engage attendees, including new exhibitors and products, video profiles of Expo exhibitors, favorite speakers and fresh voices and a new website for Expo information

To further engage attendees, we’re introducing a number of exciting features at Natural Products Expo West 2011, which will take place March 10 to 13 in Anaheim, Calif. Be sure to tune into the following:

Exhibitors and products. New products are the lifeline of any retailer, and this year we will have more than 1,800 exhibitors at Expo West bringing in new and innovative items. Catch a preview at by clicking on “new product buyers’ guide.”

Video content. Look for video profiles at of new and long-standing exhibitors such as Denver-based Udi’s Handcrafted Foods, Boulder, Colo.-based evol Burritos and West Lake Village, Calif.-based Love & Toast personal care. Learn how these and other companies started, what’s made them successful and which new products they will introduce at this year’s show.

Speakers. Expect a mix of favorite presenters and fresh voices. This year, Bridget Brennan, best-selling author of Why She Buys (Crown, 2009), will grace the Expo stage. Her keynote address will highlight the influence women have in the marketing and formulation of more than 80 percent of today’s consumer products, including natural, organic and healthy lifestyle items. Other featured speakers include Temra Costa, author of Farmer Jane (Gibbs, 2010), at the Women In Naturals event on March 11 at 6 p.m., Alex Bogusky, former advertising guru with Crispin Porter + Bogusky, and Lynne Twist, author of The Soul of Money (Norton, 2006).

New website:, which launched at Expo East last October, is the site to tap into all of New Hope Natural Media’s products and find information from supply to shelf.
